Study: Whole genome sequencing of Leishmania mexicana selected for amphotericin B resistance

Four Leishmania mexicana lines experimentally selected for amphotericin B resistance were subject to whole genome sequencing. Genomic DNA was extracted using the Macherey Nagel Nucleospin Tissue kit and libraries were prepared using the TruSeq Nano DNA library preparation kit. 2 x 75 bp paired end reads were obtained with an Illumina NextSeq 500 sequencer.
